How much rwhp would my 94 ta a4 need to be able to hit a 5 second flat 0-60 time?

It cant be that much. A 98+ WS6 M6 was tested and ran a
5.0 0-60. So make your car as fast as one of those, and you are there.

As stated by the site this isnt 100% accurate..but good for ideas

I entered 9.0 @ 80mph in the 1/8th. That was a 5.06 / 0-60.

So that should give you an idea.

You don't need anything a stock LT1 will do it with a good launch. Make sure your engine temps are at 160 or around there. I can feel a good difference in SOTP feel when my engine is all hott, same thing with the tranny. Nice cool air helps a lot too.

I was screwing around a couple of times with a stopwhatch just for fun. Best I ever had was 4.8sec. Figure in my human error and that should come out to 5sec or around there. Who knows maybe there was no error. But it was pulling like a beast.

On a g-tech I used to be able to hit 4.9's on 315 drag radials and cai. Now with the new mods I hit 4.6's on 275's drag radials.

13.69 is possible but unlikely.

I ran 13.84@100.7mph pretty much bone stock with the filter removed on a cool day.
Some cars are faster than others.

I saw a local car with full exaust, CAI and a mild cam running mid 14's@95. Granted its an auto, with stock gears, but it shows you what a difference there can be in different cars.

My '96 M6 TA pulled 13.68@101 with WS6 CAI w/K&N, a 3" cutout, and a set of drag radials bolted on - everything else stock. I guess that isn't stock though...

I saw a road test on a convertable shoot out , a 2001 camaro ran a 4.8 on street tires w/an auto and 2:78 gears , against a mustang and a few other convertables . I was impressed . I would think w/good traction , a stock LT1 6 speed should be able to get it . W/gears most of them definitly could hit it , just my opinion . I guarentee mine could

0 to 60 is all fun and good, but I prefer 0 to 1320ft. instead.

Why is it so hard to believe. I had awesome conditions that day. The run before I ran a 13.74, cooled the car down took of the filter to my ram air and ran the 13.69. I had a 2.0x 60' time. There are a bunch of Z28s running 13.7 stock. Unless you want to count the ram-air as an only mod, I personally think it's worthless.

By the way MT got a 5.2 sec 0-60 time with a 95 LT1 Z28. They use pretty good equipment, I doubt there was a lot of error in that one.

0-60 is for magazine racing. Like Joe said, its all about the 1/4.

Jon94Z ran a 13.58 with Borla and cold air with awesome track prep. Patman got his bone stock Formula going prety quick, like 13.7X.
