i would never take my car to 150 with out at least a driveshaft loop which i don't have. Builiding up a motor doesn't make the car any safer at that speed.

With a given 1/4 mile time/mph, a couple of software programs could accurately predict 0-150 times for other than your car.

IMO, 150 @ night is a lot like practice bleeding. 220 ft/second doesn't give you much look-ahead time with halogen or even HID headlights. Too bad it wasn't a full moon night like last Wednesday.

My $.02

actually, I didn't know the stock answer, Yes I took it to 150 but I wasn't actually counting how long it took (had to concentrate) and it was also from a 70 roll not a dead stop. I remember when I had my SHO with cam and heads and it took quite a bit to hit 140. I looked down in the z thinking i was going 130 but it was a bit passed 150

With a 13.67 @ 102 1/4 mile time, I'm impressed with the extra 28 mph in 1/3 of a second. JATO?

When I had my 1996 Formula with 2.73 gears I video taped a speed run. If I watch the timer on the VCR when I play it back it takes my car right around 43 seconds to hit the 150 mark on the speedo.
