I had the thing on my tool chest ready to install last night and it falls over and the gear that protrudes out the back of it broke off =/. It was a clean break so I put some JBWeld on it last night and im gonna test to see how strong it is today. My question is, will thing thing be under a lot of torque that the JBweld will break? Im just asking for opinions before I go off and buy a new gear and bearing or if anything this it might hold up since it is recessed in the engine.

JB weld is storng... but I would bever use it on a piece that drives the water pump... save yourself the headache and buy the appropriate piece. It could be dissaster if you don't better safe than sorry.
