I have a short video of my 224/230 112 lsa 93 firehawk idling. It has AS&M mid-length headers, stock cat, and cut-out. tuned by madz28.

I need to know where I can host it! The file is 5 mb and is in .Mov format. its pretty dark, so you can't see much. have some pictures of it also..where can i host some pictures of it? I have a camaroz28 account, but I forgot my damn password.

I think it would sound better without a cat and with long-tubes...stupid jersey emissions!

But I'd say it sounds pretty good. Definatly gets alot of attention at stop lights and its got a deep bassy sound to it.

No, not yet. I am going to wait until I do heads and injectors over the summer before I get everything dyno-tuned perfectly. It definatly pulls hard...especially as the rpms climb. It feels similar to my old 99 ls1 with a 3400 stall and some bolt ons..but its been a few years since I had that car.

In this car, I have a 2800 stall, stock 3.23 gears, stock ram air setup, and cut-out in conjunction with what i posted above. rockers are 1.6. I am going to run the car at the track in a few weeks when I get some time. I will be posting results.

 

Sounds great! I actually like it that way...You hear a nice lope, but it is not overly choppy...Losing the cat would definitely allow you to hear that cam even better and pick you up a little power if that is what you want though...

I definatly like the sound..and its not ridiculously obnoxious and painful to the ears when your driving...but its nice and deep. I don't think the stock cat is holding me back too much...maybe in the future ill upgrade to a highflow. The sound is a little gurgled though..probably because of the y-pipe and cat..probably sound alot cleaner with duals.
