There's no possible way it could cause you to run hotter. You simply connected the line from the driver's side to the passenger side correct?

You may need to bleed the cooling system again

Hate to be the one to tell you, but doing the TB bypass does not make your car hotter. The TB bypass keeps your TB cooler by not exposing it to 200 degree coolant. Cooler TB=cooler air=more power. I had no problem idling at all up here in New England, where we saw -25 degrees two weeks ago.

Ditto on the coolant-bleeding procedure. Open the bleeder screws on the upper radiator hose and allow the engine to idle until no more air comes out. You'll need to repeat this process several times for the next few days, because there's plenty of places for air to hide in our cooling systems. Hot spots = bad = higher than normal coolant temperatures.

whats the deal, why do i need to bleed out the coolant did all of you have to do that but i still dont see because if i let the car cool as cold as it can be i mean it will still do the same thing so how will that help and can i just add more of the dexcool instead!

just went and drained alot of the coolant out and replaced it with cold anti-freeze and it still rose to almost 210 idleing but when im driving its like 160 or somewhere near? should i just go back to the old way tomorrow after school? can the 3/8 piece have to small of a flowing hole or something i mean i know i did it right!

You bleed the air out, you open the two brass fittings on the line and when coolant starts comming out you close them up again. They actually sell a tool just for it but ou really dont need it.

Hell, just use the conventional method. Open the radiator cap and let the car idle while revving intermittently. As soon as you cant see any coolant from the radiator cap anymore add some more. Repeat until radiator is full and no more bubbles arise from the opening. Close cap.
