z28 vs trans am

Okay i'm getting into the market and i know i'm looking for a 98+ z28 or trans am with a 6. I like the looks of both (trans am slightly more) but i'm having trouble deciding. One thing that bothers me about the trans am is the popups, comparing the z28 and the trans am on the highway, is the trans am at a disadvantage because of the increased drag aka headlights on? I need suggestions!!

neither one will show a difference on the road.

performance is identical

go with what you like better or can get optioned like you want.

Why would you need headlight at the track
And I highly doubt that the lights being up made that much of a difference.
Cooler temps at night means more power but less traction .

Um, no. The pop-up lights don't make a big difference. Performance between the the two vehicles should be identical...all things being equal.
