Z06 Clutch Installed

Well since my Rev-Lok II went out, I've installed the z06 clutch .. way cool .. I've got only one question/concern. It engages very early in the clutch pedal movement ... engages maybe a centimeter or two from the floor. It felt weird at first because I was used to a few inches of play in the pedal. Any forseen problems or just something I should get used to? .. e.g. pull it out of gear a little later than im used to since the pedal has to go all the way to the floor for me to be sure it's disengaged.

Is adjustment, if possible, quick and easy? Thanks for the help.

Not all that familiar with the Z06 clutch setup, but it certainly isnt suposed to engage that close to the floor. I dont hink its a judstable, something must have gone wrong with the install.

Funny, My Z06 clutch kit doesn't engage until near the top. I think it has to do with the master cylinders. I will be shortly upgrading to the 01+ master.

Weird, because I did buy the updated GM hydraulics from ls1speed.com .. I'll put a call into the guys who installed it and see what they have to say.

Probably just have to let it wear in.

Ya .. I took it back .. the story is there is no adjustment possible, as the clutch wears, it will take more clutch pedal travel to engage .. so engaging near the bottom is normal for a brand new clutch .. as I was told.

Feels better than the stock to me. About the same pedal pressure but you can tell it grabs much better.

I'd definitely have to agree with you on that one. Pedal pressure feels roughly the same though it is hard for me to tell since I've been driving around on the all out drag racing clutch before the install of my z06 clutch.
