Y pipes and headers?

I'm looking at a set of QTP headers and I have no idea what to do about the y pipe. Qtp's y pipe is 335 bucks which is a hell of a lot more than anybody elses. Do I need to get their y pipe or will any type fit? Also for the time being I'm gonna be running my stock exhaust any thing I should know about setting everything up this way?

Re: Y pipes and headers?

You need the y-pipe that works with the headers you are buying..

Re: Y pipes and headers?

I kinda realize that I'm wondering which ones work with QTP. Can I only use a QTP brand y pipe or can I use others?

Re: Y pipes and headers?

QTP's are the longest LT's you'll find. So you need to use there Y due to the fact no others will match up from our experiences. You could always possibly take it to a local shop and have one fabbed up for cheaper? Give us a shout if you have anymore questions........

Thanks

Josh

You don't need their Y-pipe! Pacesetters off road y-pipe works just as well. I had it setup on my QTP's and went in perfect.

Re: Y pipes and headers?

QTP makes there Y-pipe to fit QTP KOOK and Pace setter so i would asume that a pace setter y-pipe would fit..I have the QTP with There y-pipe with the duel electronic cutouts....very nice setup..just make sure whatever you buy it is what you are happy with and you think it was well money spent
