Y-pipe is rattling like crazy, what can I do?
I installed Hooker headers, y-pipe, and cat-back last month and I couldn't for the life of my find the bracket that attatches to the y-pipe to hold it up. At first it was no problem, the pipe stayed up high enough that it didn't touch anything. Now the pipes have settled and the y-pipe is resting on the tunnel brace and it rattles all the freekin time. It's driving me insane, what can I do to stop the rattling?
or possibly....unbolt the tunner brace and put spacer/washers/set of bolts to add space in-between the y-pipe and tunnel brace. if you add enough room, the y-pipe won't rattle, and the tunnel brace won't hang down much at all.
..just another suggestion.
