Post Y-pipe glowing

Ok i've had a missfire on cyl #7 still tracking it down, the plug looks brown with spotching on it, and the other 3 on the drivers side bank are white, well last night i noticed the exhaust pipe after the manifold was just barely glowing red. i dont think this is normal, is this because the pcm is leaning that bank out because its reading the excess fuel from #7 at the o2 and thinking the bank is running rich???

Please help,
Greg

i considered it escpecially since the car is a 98 with 80,000miles but the ses code is only for a cyl #7 missfire, im not sure if a plugged cat would only effect one cylinder.

Any Ideas?

Check your coil for that cylinder, the wire, and just replace the plugs and see what happens.
