X-Pipe?
Im gonna be doing a header install this winter. I was normally thinking a y-pipe into my borla. I ran into a 01 Firehawk last night that just screamed. We ended up running, and pulling over to take a look at the cars(i did win =) ) He had headers with a y-pipe dumped ect ect. I mentiond doing the same and he said ditch the y-pipe for an x-pipe? I didnt know anybody made an x-pipe for an ls1, or not dr.gas(thats who he mentioned) whats your guys input on the x-pipe vs y-pipe?

Re: X-Pipe?
there isn't one that is build directly for the LS1...but many guys have put them on thier cars.
Summit or jegs offers some Xpipes, at relatively good prices. you can get just the cross-over or the crossover with extensions to go to the header collectors.
i think www.texas-speed.com sells a true dual exhaust now...both over the axle ($$) and dumped before it. they are designed for the LS1 with LTs
