WS6 lower air box same as the stealth box?

Are the two the same, and if so how much would it cost to buy a lower WS6 air box from GM? $299 seems like alot for the stealth box

No, they are different. The Stealth lower air box is a lot bigger.

Wink

The Stealth is larger than a WS6 lower airbox & it doesn't have a bottom. The one problem with the Stealth set up is that the connection from the lid to the MAF is oval & small, not round & large like the other lids. It's confusing because it's well made but that seems to be the restriction on it. I had one for about 6 months. I switched to the 85mm carbon fiber TSP lid which I'm very happy with. A new WS6 lower airbox can be bought for $78 shipped from Gene at Fred Beans on LS1.com.

I did the testing.. I dont think that you will see any gains at the dyno or track by opening up the underside. Fact is that air isnt having a hard time getting to the engine once you put on a lid. Its ability to breathe seems to of been made easier with just that addition.

It would be kewl if people that worked at a dyno shop and could dyno whenever would do simple things like dyno then add a part then dyno again.. then drive for a while.. do some errands.. then dyno again.. see what happens..
I am just weird like that and want to know..
