WS6 Airbox?
I am looking at getting a ram air hood from american sprts car design and I was wanting to have it functional. I have been looking at the Ws6 models and the air box doesnt look any different than mine.? Is it? This may be a really dumb question but I just couldnt see any noticeable differences... can someone help me out?

Hmm, I'm not sure. The larger slot is there to optimize the function of the nostrils, but I'm sure the stock airbox would work fine as well. In any case you could always do the free ram air mod.
So when I get the hood just leaving my stock airbox there will stick give me the ram air effect, but if I do the free ram air mod it will give me a little bigger area for air to flow into? I also plan ongetting a slp whisper lid. Do they have a larger air inlet?

Forget the lid, go for the K&N FIPK kit. It allows you to take in a much larger volume of air than any lid and drop-in. If you dont have a loud exhaust, you can actually hear the air getting sucked in. I would recommend this over the lid if you plan on changing out the box.
i drilled out the baffles on my WS6 hood, now i can look straight thru to the air box, way better than having the air flow around those baffles.
