I was looking at a muscle car book on Sunday and realized that they had a WS6 in there. Why was I surprised? Anyway, it had the LS1 and everything except it didn't have the raised spoiler, (it had the V6 spoiler) or the GFX. This seemed strange to me. Is there a package that doesn't give you the GFX or the Spoiler?
And if anyone has this package on their car, if you could please post some pictures.
Please shed some light on this for me.

The WS6 package came on Trans Am's and Firebirds. The T/A had the raised spoiler and the Firebird had the non raised spoiler. The V6 Firebird was available with GFX, but the V8 models of the Firebird were not. Hope this helps.

 

Yes, like said above you could get two Ws6's, the Trans Am and the Formula (not "Firebird" even though they look exact) Some people prefer the looks of Formulas over TA's, whether because it looks less agressive or they like the front fascia. Personally I like the raised spoiler, but the Formula front end it kinda cool too, I just like the arrangement of the lights I guess.

you could get the WS6 package on a TA from 98-02...
you could get the WS6 package on a Formula from 98-00...
no WS6 package available on the V6s...

The WS6 Formulas are pretty d*mn rare...seems like ~200 to ~300 built in each model year...
