wouldn't start-why?

After work today, my z wouldn't start, the engine rotated and starter was going but it wasn't until i gave it some gas that it started.
The Fliud in the battery was low on one side (just refilled it 2wks ago) Took it to Autozone and after they tested it said that my battery and alternator were fine.
I have noticed that the past 2 days the battery gauge would read higher than normal for about 10 minutes into the drive.
So what caused it to not want to start? My injectors and fuel filters were cleaned/replaced last august.

flooded...the way to start a FI engine that is flooded is to put the gas to the floor and start it...
