Post Would an X-Pipe fit under these cars?

I want one for the obvious power gains, but would it be worth the hassle, or would it not fit at all? The other option was to run the Hooker LTs into a Y then into the GMMG. With the GMMG there is only 1 inlet so you have to use a Y into it. Ideas?

My friend with a '94 1LE ran Hooker LT's into an X-pipe...then into 2 bullet mufflers out towards the passenger side NASCAR style. Looks and sounds incredible. His name on here is Thumpers1LE.

Do you think it sounds as good as the GMMG?

mlsmbd21,

Do you have pics by any chance. Or can you answer a few questions for me. What is the brand and part number for the headers, mufflers, and x-pipe that you used? Did you notice any loss in hp or torque on the low end? The reason I am asking is that I would like to replicate this set up if it is worth it in horsepower and sound.

Thanks for your help

An X-Pipe setup flows better than a Y-Pipe. You will only see an increase, as there is no way you can lose power.

Cool

I was just asking about duals on a new car recently. Check out the links that KMOOK posted. He's got an LT1, but close enough. And YES, an x-pipe will fit!

Here's the link to that thread:

Yes the car is lowered. I have the LG Coil Over kit on the car.

Its kinda loud on a 383 D1 blown car but its not to bad. I need to redo some of it but it does fit better than the Mufflex and the Mufflex Y pipe thats for sure.

I just took the car apart to fix a broken crankshaft snout so I'll get some pics of the exhuast off of the car and post it here in a couple weeks. If you have any questions feel free to email me.
