The Mach's motor has different cams that are designed to make torque. You all forgot to say how much torque they lay down on the dyno, which is right around 300-305.

I have ran a couple of Machs from a slow roll in 1st and had over 2 car lengths and was still pulling in 3rd before I let off. That was a catbacked Mach and a stock Mach vs stock w/a crappy Ravin muffler on my 2000 SS. I do know they really like 4.11's and drag radials though and are easily capable of mid 13s in stock form.

Mach1's are over hyped retro trash.
While I was gone from this site I crossed over to the Fordside. I had a bolt-on 03 GT and was very un impressed with Mach1's I ran into.
Stock LS1 vs Stock Mach1 it will only be close street light to street light. Out on the open road it is all LS1. Gears only help the Mach1 in the 1/4.
