Post Would this run 11.4s?

My friend just met this kid with a 2000 WS6 with Heads, catback, lid and NOS. He rode in it and said it was crazy fast and the kid said it dynoed at 425 without nos and 625 with nos. I didn't know you could safely run a 200 shot. Anyway, I don't know a whoel lot about LS1's, but do those numbers/times sound about right or is the kid bsing?

"Heads" is a term than can mean many things... Usually people do a cam at the same time and since most stock LS1's can run low 13's, and heads+cam can go to low 12's, and a decent shot of nitrous can drop that by another second..., then sure.

I would want to see a timeslip. There are other issues involved like tires and traction, the fragile rear end, whether or not he can drive and whether or not the stock clutch would take the power. Despite all the fast cars on this board there are not too many low 11 seconds cars that are driven to my local track.

That combo could run 11.4 no problem.

Friends have gone 10's with that setup.

Most Ls1's are running low 13's high 12's stock with good driving, and most heads and cam cars are running in the 11's NOT 12's, with nitrous alot of them are running in the tens and some are even running in the 10's with just heads and cam. LS1 and LT1's are two different ball games......
Yes those number look reasonable by the way. The X1 cam I believe its called from MTI dynoed 445 rwhp on a heads and cam LS1 not too long ago.
