Wiper blade windhield scratch
Wiper blade windhield scratch
Any of you Maro people ever had a windshield wiper mark on windshield? If so has anyone ever has an sucess removing (without replacing windshield)What is the secret, if any?
I feel for ya. About 6 months ago someone stole my windshield wipers in parking lot when it was raining out. At first I did not notice it, and I turned on my wipers on and it scratched the **** out of it. Maybing trying some type of scratch removing wax? im not sure as I really dont want to crack or make things worse.
This may belong in the Show & Shine forum, but it just so happens that I removed one just yesterday from my car with a product from the Eastwood Co. It is rhodite glass polishing powder & polishing wheel which is used in a regular drill. It takes some patience and depending on the depth of the scratch, several minutes of polishing, but the results are miraculous.......my scratch was deep, but is almost completely invisible now!

Order items 40011A & 40011B, and follow directions......worked very well for me.
Good luck!

YES, it can be polished out. The results depend on how deep the scratch was. Most auto glass places will do it pretty cheap.

I like the Eastwood Co. ideal and will try it. I also have a headlight cover which is blemeshed and looks like that Co. has something for that also.
Boy GM is proud of the headlight assy.
Thanks again guys. 'Ray"
