Windshield wipers

My drivers side windshield wiper hits the window molding and has scratched it. I tried to remove the arm by removing the bolt and move it down, but I couldn't budge it. It is annoying every time I turn it on, both the sound and the fact that it's f-ing up my molding. It is the proper size. Any suggestions?

You need to get arm loose from post & readjust the arm.
most of the time I loosen nut up & keep it on the top of the post's stud.
Then take a hammer & tap the nut/stub & it usually jars the arm loose.
If it is still wont budge, use a bent needle nose plier (45 degree) with some rags to cover the jaws & a flat piece of wooben shim stock.
Use the wood as a point to pry against, w/the covered plier jaws, & break it loose.
