will my 700r4 tranny work in my buddys 01 ls1

i have a 95 z, i put a 700r4 reverse manual vavle body stage 3 shift kit and vigilante 3000 stall converter,cooler. etc.

im selling my car and would like to sell it instead of turn it in to a dealer with everything.

my buddy with a 2001 z28 wants it, will it work or can anything be done for it work?

93 was 4L60, not 700R4 and 4L60e from 94 up.

finnally the truth

Z28 - high end model which comes with the 5.7L V8 (LT1) engine rated at
285HP. Prior to 1996, it was 275 HP, but thanks to a second catalytic
converter, HP is bumped up by 10. A black roof treatment was standard on
all '93 and '94s. '95 models and after offered a roof that was the same
color as the rest of the body as an option, but black was still standard.
The standard transmission is a 6-speed Borg-Warner T-56 or a 4-speed 4L60E
automatic (although the 93's weren't electronic and were only 4L60s). . The
suspension is also enhanced for improved handling over the base model.
Two "Preferred Equipment Groups/Packages" are available making cars either
moderately or fully loaded.
