now if i call a slavage yard and tell them i want the upper intake off a 01-02 z28 or trans am or formula will they all be an ls6 intake? my car is a 00 will an ls6 intake be a direct replacement for my ls1 intake or do i have to get other things to have this work properly with my car/pcm? will everything on my 00 just attach to the 01-02 intake/ what problems will i have? thanks

 

You'll need to modify it to accommodate your EGR ('01-'02s did not have EGR), otherwise it should work.

 

watch out for your oil pressure sensor!!!!!!!

i was changing intakes and snagged mine. i hafta go get a new one on tuesday

 

I have looked at many of the salvage yards in my area and havent turned up much. They all tell me the same thing...go to a dealer.

what do i need to do to get my egr and air to hook up to it since the 01-02 didnt have egr, if there isnt a hole in it for this what can i do for it to work?
