Will it compare to an 02 trans am?
If i get a fast toys ram air kit for my Z, Will it compare to my friends 02 trans am WS6 in a race. his is an auto.

I say a lid or a catback will put you in par with an 02. I think however that since yours is a six speed and your buddies an auto you might be able to keep up or take him as you are stock if he is stock aswell.

you also have to remember that he has the LS6 intake also...

The LS-6 intake wont help him unless he has other induction mods, i.e.-lid, filter, descreened MAF sensor. If you can drive your 6-speed well, then you should be right with him if not ahead of him SLIGHTLY:-).
