why would it be doing this????

I have a 99 camaro z28... the car has been doing this stuff where i'll turn it on and start driving , but then it'll basically start dying on me like the air flow is messed up.. i'll rev the engine and its just bogging down and seems like its chocking... it is just running like SH**.. i dont know if it could be an electrical problem, a fuel problem, or air flow problem.... It was raining really bad today and i do have an SSRA, so i dont want to say i sucked up water, but its possible could that be causing my problem.... the car seems to be lagging if that makes sense.... any input would be greatly appreciated....Thanks

first check for codes. I would change the fuel filter and check fuel pressure. read this http://www.ehow.com/facts_5183619_ba...-symptoms.html

With an SSRA in heavy rain I'd be checking to see if the filter is wet. It's pretty easy to scoop up water from a deep puddle and possibly ruin your motor. That's why they come with a block off plate to install just incase.

A faulty HO2 sensor could cause this condition, but I would think that this would also throw a code.

Make sure the MAF and filter are dry. A wet MAF will do that.

i did a test that showed that cylinder 6 & 8 were misfiring... and that i have a small exhaust leak above the header where the 8th cylinder is... could this possible be the problem?
