who ports stock ls2 heads the best ?

My tbss has a bad lifter u have to take the heads off to change them. So I wont to send them off to the shop who can get the best #'s out of them . I already have a nos plate kit good for 300 hp ... I got lucky an bought a perimeter plate from harris speed before they went out ... I have a pcm for less cam and the lsxr/t truck intake .... so I need some good heads ....

thanks in advance for recommendations

Best is a relative term....how much are you willing to spend?

There's quite a few CNC porting programs out there and all of them, including the one we use flow similarly and cost about the same - you're going to pay extra for the use of top quality components and attention to detail when doing the guide work and valve job on the heads. That plus hand porting in the right places after a CNC program has been run can make the difference between regular off the shelf CNC head, and true performance race heads.

There's a huge price spread between the imported cheap valve train parts, and the really good stuff.

What are the specs on the cam? What lobes?

If you want to play the game of asking for help on a message board while withholding pertinent information out of "respect" for a company that's doing nothing special other than drop shipping a cam with their name on it, that's fine...go to them for your advice from now on.

A little hint...when it comes to anything other than custom race cams ground for a specific application and class, you're protecting nothing by posting those specs other than the false marketing scheme that those specs where necessary to keep secret to begin with.

AI did an awesome job on my 317s. I went with their 232 CNC package with BTR springs and reused the stock valves. Keep in mind you're looking at 6-8 weeks turn around with most CNC shops.
