Who has went carbureted with their LS1??

I am putting an LS1 in my boat and was curious what it took for the conversion besides the intake and carb....particularly the ignition system.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in andvance.

I'd keep the EFI, however Edelbrock is releasing a carb conversion with an ignition module to run the "rest of the system". I'd look there.

Good luck.

I agree with the Edelbrock conversion kit, they came in handy. IMO its best to leave the EFI on. It might be worth it to wire the EFI up instead of converting to carb. EFI should put down lots more torque than the carb can, and you need that torque in a boat - especially when taking off. I have a boat myself and it could use more grunt in the lower end.
