Where to place the cutout?

Where to place the cutout?

Where do I have the cutout placed? I know shops do it differently,but I want it done right. Thanks.

You will find that most people have it in the I-pipe right underneith the passenger seat. Its almost like GM made a spot fot it there.

I also have mine underneath the rear passenger seat but it gets pretty HOT in there. Anyone experience the same prob??

The wife sat back there the other day and said she didnt feel any extra heat.
