When does the F13 and F14 power band end?

Just wondering when the F13 and the F14 power band end with my mods? the f13 says 2600-6800 and the f14 says 2600-7000. I asked this on another thread but I dont know if it was in the right place.. I really dont want to hit the 7000 rpm mark just yet, till I rebuild my bottom end. Thanks in advance.

The F-13 makes peak power around 6000 rpm and the F-14 makes it around 6200 rpm. Even though it holds good power to 7k, there's no reason that you would be forced to shift an F-13 past 6300 and an F-14 past 6500.

I was hoping you would respond, cause your like the God of F13 and F14's. Everyone says your name when someone says F13 or F14. So I can set my rev limit to 6600rpm and be ok?? When I dyno my car, I will have them go to 6800 , but I am hoping it falls off right at the 6500 mark like you said. Or should I just stick with the f13 just to keep the rpm lower? I think I will get the same amount of horse power which ever one I go with. I think the f14 gets about 10-15 more horsepower, right? Thanks for your response. I just want to keep my RMP lower to help reduce spinning a bearing even though I know you can spin one no matter if I have a bigger cam or not. Thanks again

You won't really need them to go that high on the dyno, because like I said... it'll spin that high, but it'll peak around 6000-6200 --- same with shifting. A 6600 redline is really all you need for the F-13 or F-14 camshaft.

The F-14 is bigger and will produce slighly more horsepower and more lope, but won't affect driveability much. If you're planning on adding heads later, I'd go with the F-14 on the 112 LSA.
