Whats wrong with this LS1??

Hello i posted in the general forum but no one answered so im gona try it here. Well it doesnt want to accelerate at WOT the rpms will climb to 4000 and the engine will sound quieter and my speed wont even move.. but if i drive it normal it will accelerate fine. the ses light came on and i got it scanned but it just said it need o2 sensors? what should i start checking on this car? Also the fuel pump whines but its been doing that for sometime now. and the car just started acting up. its a 2000 camaro with 112,000 miles on it. Heres a video of it at WOT and in the end is the fuel pump making its noise. thanks!

Get scanned for codes/history and work from there.

My guess would be plugged cats, my buddy has a 94 3.4 camaro with a turbo and he plugged up the cat under the passenger floor because of his rich mixture, or from running leaded avgas (those are our guesses anyway). It would start and idle and drive around ok but would not rev above about 3500, even in neutral. He has a megasquirt controller so no codes - he gutted the cat with a piece of rebar and good as new (actually better than new to be honest).

What kind of O2 sensor code do you have? There are a bunch of those codes.

If the codes that were retrieved were either a P0420 or P0430 get the car to the dealer in a hurry. The extended warranty on the catalytic converter(s) will soon expire for your car.

P0171 is a bank 1 lean code. Clean your MAF sensor and inspect the entire PCV system for a leak. You'll probably find a deteriorated PCV hose causing the vacuum leak. This still would not explain the lack of power. You may also have a bad converter. Address the lean dtc first and continue with diagnosis.
