Whats the poundage on a stock LS1 fuel injectors

On a 99' Z28, if it makes a difference.

^ Based on that, they may be maxed at stock? Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the HP output correlate to the injector sizing? 450 FWHP would be 42#ers?

Nah. The stock 26-28s are good for a cam-only car... figure around 400+ for the 26s and 420+ for the 28s or upwards of 475-500 crank horsepower.

That's pretty much maxxed. You only need 30# SVOs for a heads/cam car making upwards of 450-470rwhp. That's all I used in mine. I used 42s in my 408ci 530rwhp, but they weren't even close to being maxxed out.

I know that Al is going to disagree with me on this , but when you use tuning programs like LS1 Edit or EFI Live, you actually set the SVO 30# to 36# on the program because they are rated at 30# using Ford's fuel pressure, not the LS1 fuel pressure.

what is the stock pressure?

When I tuned my car I set them to 30's and run 55psi..... But I had to try it to make it work and it did

Stock pressure on the LT1 is around 43psi.

Stock pressure on the LS1 is 58psi.

Hey i got to get injectors, 2000 T/A , Cartek stage 2 heads/2x cam/headers...... Cartek told me 36's what brand should i get?

Ford SVO 30 pounders seem to be the most popular. They actually flow around 36 lbs with GM's higher fuel pressure and you can usually find used sets for $200 or less .
