I want the car to sound good with LT's+ORY. I don't want it to be to loud,so you have to chout so your passenger can hear you.

here's an easier question:

"what's the perfect woman?"

it is way to subjective to even begin to make a decision

www.ls1sounds.com you decide

I wouldn't make a decision based on the ls1sounds.com website. Most of the sound clips are NOTHING like what you would hear in person. GMMG is definitely the best sounding cat-back, or go with true duals.

For an LS1, I'd say the Hooker catback is the best sounding - especially with headers...

Considering I prefer a more refined sound...

I would have to say true duals are my #1 pick with Corsa being #2..

I wasnt impressed with GMMG or any others.. Too harsh.. Obtrusive...

personally i like the more rugged loud as hell sound. im runnin Lt headers with an open y-pipe. i think that sounds the best(personally). its just a beast sound when you really get on the gas. you should try it

Because your adding LT headers and do NOT want it too loud to have a normal conversation in the car I would stay away from Loudmouth, GMMG and Rumbler. They would be too loud/raspy with LT's and no cats (assuming your going with no cats).

My personal favorite is Hooker catback+ LT headers + No cats. Of course I love true duals too but that is expensive and can still be too loud if you don't use cats or add a second pair of bullet mufflers.

Good luck deciding.

I have LT's and a GMMG. I run it through cats though.I've gotten countless compliments on the sound. The GMMG has a low rumble to it. Gotta love the GMMG.

Damn right As long as you keep your cats, the GMMG is king of catbacks with pretty much any other mods you do. GMMG or true duals is definitely the way to go. F-bodies aren't supposed to be quiet.

blazers: BTW, I noticed that you say your car has 375rwhp. What gave it that much power? Which mods did you leave out of your sig?

those of you saying gmmg is raspy are on crack, have you ever actually heard it in person? mine sure as hell isnt raspy and my friends with longtubes definately isnt. the gmmg in my opinion along with 20+ people i personally know that have heard the ls1 in person with different exhausts say the gmmg sounds the best by far, real nice deep sound comparing gmmg to loudmouth is ridiculous. they are not at alll the same sound or even similar

I have heard a few at the track. I love them with HF cats but with LT and no cats you can keep it. GMMG is a great catback but no matter what you say this will always be true:

1). It's overpriced. $650+ for a catback is just rediculous.

2). LT1 with Flowmaster will always sound better. Just can't get the same real deep rumble out of a LS1 even with GMMG.

But GMMG, LT's and HF cats and you got one of the best sounds a LS1 can make. Loud, but I like it loud. I just can't stand ear bleeding drone and or high rpm rasp.
