Most people on this forum will say the loudmouth is the best for performance with the gmmg or magnaflow close to the same. I personaly think the loudmouth sounds like *** but it's a matter of opinion. The 4" mufflex would have to be up there too simply because of it's size, but I dont know if anyone here actually runs their exhaust. They only come with flowmaster or spintech mufflers. Many people say flows dont flow and I dont know anything about spintech's performance. On mufflex's website they say they are a dealer for magnaflow mufflers but I dont know if they put them on any f-body catbacks or not.

Hope this helps.

I personally am partial to my Borla. It's got a good sound and best of all, it's adjustable. If I wan't loud, I got straight pipe/muffler bypass with the flick of a switch (thanks to the QT elec. plate). I've had nothing but compliments on the way it sounds. Here's a few links to check out:

Hope this helps some...

I personally think that Loudmouth sounds awesome. The loudmouth will show the best performance gains as well. GMMG sounds awesome as well but is very expensive. LM, GMMG, and Magnaflow are the best in my book, I just think it personal opinion on what to go with though.

loudmouth doesn't give the best perfomance they just claim it gains like 25 hp which is balogna. My friend had it on his WS6 stock which sounded nice, but if u get headers and a cam and take off ur cats it will sound so obnoxious

Not this again.

Ok the GMMG w/3" pipes Y'd to dual 2.5" pipes that make all sorts of bends compared to a Mufflex w/3.5 or 4" pipes all the way w/half the bends....hmmmmm

I love the LM. If I had the money, I'd get the GMMG.

YES!

they all flow about the same (besides the 3.5 and 4 inch mufflex). it's all a matter of material quality, sound and some extent look of the tips.

even the "lower" flowiing ones can easily be fixed with the addition of a cutout

I just ordered a couple of cutouts and am anxious to get them so I can install them and see the difference it makes.

It's mostly just personal preference. each system has a different sound, some are louder and some are more quiet.

As for HP gains, they are all roughly the same, it just depends on which one you like.

I personally like Mufflex and Magnaflow. I honestly have no real reason, I just like Mufflex because not many poeple have it, eventhough it's a great system, and I like Magnaflow because it's cheap and sounds great.

Here's a vote for Magnaflow!

It is a straight through flow wire mesh design. Made of stainless steel. Good fit nice looking tailpipes. Has a mellow rumbling tone at idle. Sounds wicked at WOT. Does not suffer from the cat-back drone of others at highway cruise speeds. It's not all that expensive either.

My BORLA (wide open) sounds great and a noticable difference in acceleration. Plus their new tips are SWEET! A bit pricey though.
