which cars have the ls6 intake that will work on my 00 trans am? i want to call the local salvage yard and try and get a good deal on one but need to know which cars have them and what year is the right one for my 00 that wont give me any problems , thanks

 

I don't know if you need one from a special year.

All the 01 and 02 LS1s came with them.

 

did any 00? Are you 100% sure all 01-02 ls1 have them? are they black like the regular intake? whats all involed with swapping to an ls6 intake? do i have to change anything else so i dont have any problems?

 

yes the 01 and 02's have them, and something with the EGR valve has to be changed, I THINK, not positive on that
