The body kits are held on by metal plates that are rivited in, you can go to your dealer they can get them.

hi i went to the dealership and the service advisor told me that they dont sell those metal rivits and that he never heard of gm using them...which i believe that this guy is full of ****....
would u know the part number for these metal rivits?
would u know the part number for these metal rivits?
No i dont know the part#, our family knows the services managers at my dealer and i just went in one day and said hey my rear body kit is loose on the left side, i already knew what it was from looking under myself, but i had them look anyway, he said "hed take care of it" and the next day i went back in and they revitied a black replacement plate, or bracket whatever you want to call it, and they didnt charge me cause it only took 20 minutes. Thats BS though tell your dealer to look a LITTLE harder

The body kit on my car (wings west) is held or was held up by 3m tape and Screws. On the rear of the car each piece(two pieces) was screwed into the bumper...3m tape doesn't work..thats why I say was held up like that...Rivits are a good idea...I wonder how many I would need
i wish i can use screws but this factory slp rear fasica does have a lip in the back for screws....it uses that 3m tape from slp, which doesn't hold...iam trying to find out what else i can use that is stronger to hold this rear fasica...i was planning to use screws also but when i look at the back i was pissed because there was no lip, like the wings west has that lip so u can use screws.....
When I got my WW kit installed the body shop use Windshield glue they said instead of the 3M tape. I know the 3M tape is weak, but there is stronger available just costs a little money. My question is would there be any chance to get my kit off. Its screwed on the inside fenderr walls and glued across the middle. The body shop owner is a friend of my dad's and I couldnt say anything because they were already doing us a favor.
Well I know that aftermarket kits dont use the brackets, but the factory ones use brackets.
