What summer tire should i buy???
Well i just ordered some winter rims and tires and now i want to get some really nice summer tires for my chrome rims. What do you think is the best summer tire and why. I have been looking at the Fireston Firehawks and the Goodyear F1 tires and they seem nice and only about 145 a tire.
All suggestions are welcome. Thanks guys

I don't know what size rims you have, but the only advise I can give is this: Your car is a daily driver and if you like how it rides, either spend the money to have a quiet ride and be soft, or buy tires for specific purposes. I bought the cheapest tire I could, and while they stick like glue, they are very noisy and don't exactly ride soft. I would say get yourself some nice all weather tires and then get the cheapest drag tires you can for when you do go to the track. That way your not compromising your daily ride the other 29-30 days out of the month like I am.

i highly recomend against the goodyears. they suck IMO. i have BFG KD's now and they are so much better than the goodyears ever were. as far as i am concerned there is no comparison between the two. They aren't that bad in the rain, but aren't the best im sure.
im running BFG KDWs on the front and Nitto 555Rs on the rear....its a good combo in my opinion and drivability/handling/wet traction are plenty respectable...plus of course that extra bit of straight line bite from the drag radials.....
IMO, drag radials are the way to go for a fairly powerful car during the warmer part of the year....biting is more fun than skating....

cooper ZEON's i had the oem eagle f1s before, these tires made me realize how much goodyears suck. these tires hook like drag radials, are cheap, and are wearing good. i never thought a street tire could hook like this, before with the goodyears i spun 2 gears away, with the coopers i barely haze 1st gear.

I wonder if they're a more streetable version of Comp T/A DR's?
