What starters fit LS1 engines? LT1 or?

Does anyone know if LS1 starters are unique or if they interchange with older GM starters?

an ls1 starter fits and ls1.. thats it as far as i know.. the ls1 isnt a "standard SBC". so rule out anything that works on a Gen I or Gen II SBC
