What are some common things that cause SES?
Well, we had a bit of a thaw today, so I drove it to AutoZone. It read the following code (they gave both the code and the description; I matched the code to Kraest's list and the descriptions match):
DTC P0128
Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature
So maybe my thermostat is going, and maybe it was just a cold day (it was).
Either way, there is probably a 160-degree thermostat in my future.

P0128 is pretty rare - luckily tstat, ECT and IAT aren't expensive. www.gearchatter.com/viewtopic9378.php
