2002 WS6. Loudmouth, MTI lid, descreened maff, TB bypass, 373 gears, PI 3600 stall, It was suppose to come stock with the LS6 cam and intake. dont know though. oh yeah the fernco mod, and the restrictor took out in the hood for the air. what do you think she should run. it will be in the 7s in the 1/8 i hope.

 

Don't know about your 1/8th mile but you can see my mods and times in the sig, should give you a good idea. Seems we are about the same, in mods, except your an 02'

Not bad, not bad. My 99 SS does about the same times with slightly fewer mods. If it wasn't for my wife I would have purchased the Z28 but she wanted the SS !

 

should be around 8.0-8.2 at about 86 mph. What does your car run in the 1/8? that 306 sounds bad ***.

I'd imagine at least in the 12's buddy. our 2001+ f-bodies have ls-6 intakes and and clutches(i know yours is an auto), but im not so sure about the cam...i think it is different, but i dont know if its a ls-6 cam. if it was, then thered be like no difference between ours and a z06 and you know that wouldnt happen. i had a z06 toast me on motor the other day on woodward. i live 1.25 miles from woodward ave. : )

The cam (unless changed) will actually be a more mild cam than found in the 98-00 cars. The 01-02 cars use the cam out of the truck engines to minimize the gains. No where near the LS6 cam.

The 3600 and 3.73 will make it launch like a raped ape. You make no mention of tires - street tires will be fried completely. The biggest issue is traction. If you have good tires, it'll likely run mid-12's, depending on driver.

Are you looking at buying this car? Make sure you can live with the gears and high stall TC - I like that set up, but a lot of people do not.

Its my buddys car. Im trying to get some figures where he will be at. We raced alot. on the street I take him 1.5 cars and then just pull away. At the strip he gets me off the line but then I pass him and beat him about 2 cars. Oh yeah it has gutted cats. Next step on it will be headers and LS1 edit. Its still one bad *** car. I havent felt another car with so little mods that quick.
