What shocks should I get?

I have the Eibach sportline kit on my 98 SS and the back bottoms out very regularly. I did not replace the shocks when I put the springs on and I think my old shocks are worn out. What kind of shocks(drag launch, air bags, or high performance shocks should I get? I want to fix the bottoming out part with minimal cost.

Depends on how much he can spend. Sure, The HAL shocks look great, and I've heard good things about them, but they are not in a lot of peoples budgets. I know I just can't drop close $700-$800 bucks on shocks.

I did what I could...I got 4 KYB AGX 8 Way Adj. Shocks. Cost me a total of like $350'ish. Good shocks - not the best, but better then stock. Plus I like the fact that I can adjust them. I too also have my car lowered 2" and I never rub the rear... however, I do rub the front when going over speedbumps and what not. I don't feel its due to my shocks, but the fact my car is now 2" inches lower, and I only have 16" rims.

You left us a pretty open market to do some window shopping...hope I helped.

I heard Sam Strano does a good job with the Bilsteins. They are something like $480, but I heard they are real good. I want a pro kit so bad, I am tired of the 4X4 look, so I plan on doing the pro kit and the bilsteins.

Call Sam Strano of http://www.stranoparts.com before you buy anything. He's a super nice guy to deal with and he gives it to you staight. Just tell him exactly how you want your car to handle/ride.
