What is reasonable to pay to have a performance clutch installed? What are some good brands/prices? My clutch is kinda weak & I'd like to start looking into some pricing, Thanks, Fred

 

well when I had my clutch replaced it was $500-$600 for the clutch, flywheel, slave cylinder, and bearings, and then prob about $400-500 I think to install it. I was having warranty work being done at the time and took advantage of the tranny being apart and put in the LS6 clutch. The warranty company paid the install as like I said they were doing work on the shift forks. As for the LS6 clutch, is grips alot better than stock, and is still very streetable, but it is a little stiffer than stock. CON: Its only rated for 450hp. I'm guessing thats not WRHP. =0( Other choices at the time were SPEC stage 2 or 3.

Hey thanks for the info. I think I'll give that LS6 clutch kit from Pace Performance a shot. $320 roughly isn't a bad price. Has anyone had good/bad experiences with the LS6 clutch setup?
