what kind of clutch?

I will need a new clutch soon, and this is my first manual transmission, so I don't know much about what brand of clutch I should buy. I want something that feels close to the stock clutch. I use my car mainly for work but I like to go to the strip about 6 times a year. I would like to spend no more than $700 (without install). Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Depending on the Horse power your pushing, If its close to stock would get a 02 z06 clutch and those are about $450, but I'm getting a Spec 3 carbon and thats about $550 and can hold about 650fwhp.

Thanks to both of you! Is the carbon smoother than the kevlar? Where did you find it for $440?

Look at thunderracing gurl!

They are in LA as well..

I order from them whenever I need something because they are really good and reliable.

I suggest getting the Star Spec as well.. They arent too much and I havent heard anything at all bad about them.. I have been on these boards for years..

Also Check out my website for racing women!

Good Luck!
