What inexpensive options do I have for a torque arm?

I understand out LS1's have beefed up torque arms from GM over the older styled ones that were pretty flimsy. What inexpensive torque arm could I look into that would give an improvement over the stock one on my 2002 WS6. Can't afford much, but would like something that is noticeable or beneficial.

Even if its used and in great condition...

The cheapest one I've seen is the one Edelbrock makes. I've seen it for as cheap as $135, but it usually sells for around $160. It is not adjustable, and is not as strong as some of the more expensive ones, but for the price, it is a nice upgrade from stock.

Yeah, that's what I've been finding out so far...

Anything anyone could say would be on top of the edlebrock in strength, even if it is a little more expensive??

And, is the edelbrock stronger than the torque arm on an 02 LS1? Hate to go backwards ya know...

Yes, the Edelbrock is stronger than any stock torque arm, and not to mention replaces the crappy rubber transmission bushing.

There are others, but you gotta go up over $100 in price to get to the next cheapest one. Even BMR's torque arm (BMR typically has the cheapest suspension products around) is a step up from the Edelbrock one. Is it any better? I doubt it.

I must ask. Why a torque arm? There are people with 10 and 11 second Camaros running stock torque arms. Unless you broke your stock one I think you should focus your money elsewhere.
