what happens when an o2 goes bad. can it make just one side of the motor run rich? my drivers side plugs fouled so i put a whole new set in then again. so i put the drivers side o2 on the passenger side now the passenger side is running rich. and the plugs on the passenger side are fouling out. do you think this is the o2 sensor. it is an 01 ls1 camaro engine thanks for any help and if it is an o2 anybody got one cheap

 

When an o2 goes bad the engine will run rich due to the o2 reading incorrectly. Changing the side its on won't matter, either way if the o2 is broke it will run rich. You can get a brand new ac delco o2 sensor for like $35

well my car is kinda rigged it is an 01 engine in a 94 camaro. well see if it was the driver side running rich i switch the o2 around and now the passenger side wont that mean the o2 is bad?
