Talking It varies !

But, FWIW :

Last Saturday I had my car dynoed & watched a SOM ' 02 SS go before me.

6M, SLP 345 HP package (SLP lid & Center Outlet exhaust) - this car had 3K on the clock & was stock down to the paper element - I mean no mods .

314 RWHP !!

The guy running the dyno commented that he had not seen many stock ones hit above 300 - probbaly because this dyno is "tight" & may record lower numbers than others - that's a whole 'nother ball of wax, though.

Hope this helps !

Depends on a lot of factors... temp, humidity, etc.. also different cars can have different hp even if they are the same year. But if you just want to pick ONE car that has been dynoed stock search for post by psychocabbage his car is stock and dynos around 306 if I remember correctly.

My 99 dynoed 284/299 at the wheels (M6) bone stock w/3K miles

My 02 dynoed 306/326 at the wheels (M6) bone stock w/1400 miles

They do seem to vary a lot...

My '02 305/321 at the wheels (A4) with 5k miles stock.

This was with the '345hp' package and Center Mount Exhaust setup. The airfilter had been replaced but with the SAME type that the car had come with.

My '01 (325 HP) A4 SS dynoed 312 hp/319 tq with 10,000 miles, factory showroom stock!

Typically they will dyno from 295-315 depending on the transmission.

How much does it cost to get your car dynoed?

Depends on the shop.....anywhere from 40-75 bucks for 1-3 pulls. Really each shop is totally different, call around.

in the sig, and weather should not mater on a dyno, most dyno use SAE corrected horsepower ratings for the inconsistant weather

I'd like to offer my opinion on this...

Doesn't this depend on how well the SAE correction factor accounts for changes in weather? My guess is that it does not perfectly correct for weather. In that case, wouldn't weather matter?

I don't believe that an SAE correction factor can properly account for heat soak, pinging and detonation, and engine computer adjustments (backed off timing) that are made due to variances in environmental conditions.

Empirical testing has shown higher SAE corrected figures for the same car in more desirable weather, hasn't it? How is that explained?

What should one do to prep their car before going to the dyno?

Change the oil, the air filter, full tank of gas...?

When your car is being dynoed, should you know what your car's HP and TQ peak are at in order to get your car in that power zone?

I want to get my car dynoed when I have time.

It's bone stock, doesn't feel like a factory freak, so I'm thinkin' around 285 RWHP. I would love to hit the almighty 300.
