What do YOU think?

I'm looking for some opinions here and possibly some suggestions as well. I just recently got my work bonus and would like to know what everyone here feels. I'm thinking about either getting the B & M ripper or a clear MTI lid. What do you all think i should buy?

If your car came with the Hurst equipped, just get a short stick. On the other hand if it is the crappy stock one with the round ball, you should get a complete aftermarket one. Lasty I have heard that the clear lids, because of their nature, they tend to be brittle and break easily. I think reg colors hold up better for the MTI lids.

Yea I've got the crappy stock shifter, but I do like my ball!! I didn't hear that about the clear lids though. I want it because I think it would look cool!

Pretty much all of the lids can or eventually will break down or have fitment issues ... particularly if you are doing a lot of work on your car and are taking it on and off on a regular basis.

If you can afford to spend a another $100 or so, get an FIPK. Absolutly no fitment issues and pretty much indestructable and more power to boot ...

Good Luck

Is the FIPK something that can go hand in hand with the lid? Because I should be able to get some more money this summer, but don't have the extra cash for it currently.

Stick Shift - what kind of problems did you have with your shifter??
