What do you guys think this 99 SS is worth?

Hey guys i have been away from the board since i sold my last LT1 TA but now i miss it so much that i'm in the market for another f-body but LS1 this time! I have mad an offer on a 1999 6spd SS the car is fully loaded with 44k it is pewter with black leather and has ZR1 Chrome 17s and T-tops. The car has had no accidents or paint work the car is mint. The only downside is that its just about up for new tires they have 20% tread left if that and the car doesnt have the stock stereo it has an aftermarket CD player and brakes seems in the near future. I offer the owner $13,000 for the car and he is thinking about it over night i feel this price is fair with winter comming up and not being able to drive it. Let me know what you think. Also i work on my owns cars so i will be doing the brakes etc..

Thanks

13k sounds fair. Just depends on what the seller thinks they should get.

It sounds like a good deal to me. But remember there are tons of good deals out there, you just have to patient and shop around.

I paid 18,500 for my 2001 Z28 with 15,485 miles on it. Leather, T-tops, loaded, electric everything. I bought it about 2 months ago. Owned by a 50yo lady she traded it in for a Cadillac. Not sure but I think she got screwed on the trade and I reaped the benefit.

12K is insane, sure you don't wan't it for free.
Considering your in FLA where the market is
strong under 15 is a steal.
Now worthless do you think these cars are.
they cost 30 +/- new a few years ago.

If someones in the new jersey area there is a black 2000 SS with 34k miles, leather, ttops, power everything, mint condition for sale for like 14k at a jeep dealership. I was going to buy it, but insurance screwed me out. Just giving someone the heads up if they were in the area. Dealership overpaid for the car when it was traded in, and are trying to unload it.

I would think 13k is good, but yes, you could get lower, depending on the circumstance, no reason not to START low, and go up a little.
