What to do with a 98 SS?

A friend of mine just bought a 98SS pretty much stock, but he wants to change that right away. He has $10,000 he says he wants to put into it, but he has no idea of how to pump up an LS1. He asked for help, but I only had one decent Idea. here it is:
-LS6 heads and Intake from GMPP
-550+lift CAM (Comp eXtreme)
-Vortech or Procharger Supercharger
-Upgrade Electric water pump
-Upgrade Fuel Injectors
-SLP headers, and loudmouth exhaust(maybe a QTP electric cutout)
-Z06 or better dual friction clutch
-Strange 12 bolt rear (3:73)
-SSBC brake system upgrade(bigger Slotted rottors)
-Diablo programmer
What do you guys think? I would like to get some suggestions from people who really know their stuff(because I dont) And if anybody knows a really good shop in the Bay Area whos willing to do this type of work, let me know. I appreciate your guys' help.

With 10 Grand I would look up a local f-body centered performance shop and drop it off with them. MTI and Texas Speed are the 2 that come to mind.

List looks pretty good. I would ditch the supercharger for now though; just because it's expensive and it would be a smart idea for your buddy to leave money left over for any repair issues.

That's pretty damn cool to be able to buy a new car and have $10K left to mod the hell out of it. I'm in serious debt with my car now but I still couldn't resist getting at least two mods to start out with.
