I am going to need some help diagnosing this problem. I didn't even know it was a problem until now. I have the Predator Programmer and I put in the Diablo tune and noticed significant knock retard. So I replaced the stock tune. Surprisingly I noticed that I am still getting knock (or so the Predator tells me). I haven't even done any WOT runs to get the knock. I am getting knock on my stock tune, about 2.50 per the Predator, when just accelerating from 50 to 70, not even that hard. It gets a whole lot worse when I use the Predator tune. What could be causing this? The only mods I have are the K&N FIPK and a flowmaster muffler. By the way, I run only Amoco or BP 93 octane. I live in South Carolina where it is humid and in the 80's right now. I'm not a genius when it comes to cars and really don't understand knock retard, but I know it can hurt my car and its power and am a little scared of the problems it could cause. I appreciate your help.
