What can be done?
I am getting my third engine put in soon, so I just want to know what I can do to be able to maintain high speeds on the autobahn.. They(German Opel/GM dealer) can't tell me what is wrong, because they don't know chit about these engines. They just figure that the problem will go away if they just replace the engine.

What kinda of oil do you use? Are you spinning bearings, throwing rods or what?
On a side note, I never thought stock Z28 wheels could look so sweet sprayed black. I like that look a lot. And also, I see you have some corbeaus waiting to go in. Are you a bigger guy by any chance or have any of your bigger friends sat in em? I really want to get a pair of the CR1s (http://www.corbeau.com/brochure/cr1.shtml) because I have an insane deal on them and I have until the 31st to decide. But I dont want to buy em, and then figure out that they are too small. Corbeau says on their site that the CR1s are best for 34-36" waists. Im a 38, and I dunno if I wanna take the chance, ya know? Anyways. Good lookin car bro.

your post scares me, I am a novice but love my '98 Z28 with 34,000 miles and when I read your post on a 3rd engine with a '99 Z28! Somebody set me straight here! I was hoping to get at least 100,000 miles. Am I crazy?

Without knowing what is the problem, it's hard to tell, but Jack is in Germany. They don't know much about these engines. If they can't figure the problem out the just change the whole engine and be done with it. Also, most of the problem is probably Jack, not slamming you there!
