MTI calls it the B1. MTI doesn't sell the B1 anymore.

Yea not too many people run that cam. I saw more of the T1 which is the same specs on a 112.

Re: What cam is this Lunati????

what would the difference be between an 221/221 .558/.558 114 and a 221/221 .558/.558 112? i am not very familiar with cam specs. Would the 112 have more of the choppy idle than the 114? because i want it to have a choppy idle so it sounds bad. let me know if you suggest any cams?
thx rob

Narrower lube centerlines move the power up the rpm range, idle choppier, have less vacuum, and are harder to tune.

Re: What cam is this Lunati????

There is a DRASTIC difference in sound between the 112 and 114 LSA. The 112 will have a much choppier idle, as you are having more overlap. If you are getting a relatively small cam (which it looks like you are) a 114 would sound much closer to a stock idle. For sounds, go to www.ls1sounds.com and look at some of the catbacks and plenty of the cars are running cams in the vids. Good luck with the decision. My recommendation -- a Futral F11, which is what I have. It is a 228/230 .581/.591 112 LSA and it has a GREAT idle (choppy but smooth enough so it doesnt make the whole car shake and rattle) It also drives better than both the hotcam and the 224/224. And it makes a ton of power. If you want, I'll make a vid of mine for you with cutout open and closed, I just dont have anywhere to post it so you'll have to let me send it to you through AIM. Let me know.
